The site has hundreds of bakery, deli condiments, fruits, vegetables, and dairy products that users based in New Jersey can select from. The products are delivered directly to the customer’s doorstep at their scheduled time.

We had to work with a completely new website with no visibility. The primary objective was to target multiple counties in New Jersey and create traction there.

When The Leafy Basket came to us, the website was completely new and hence, had zero visibility. So, we started from scratch and performed an SEO analysis to formulate an approach that would work best for them. A lot of work needed to be done for the on-page SEO. We performed keyword research not only for the site content but also for Voice and Near Me searches. The keywords were used to optimize the content and meta tags for category and location-specific pages. We also implemented structured data markup for the web pages. Google Analytics and Webmaster tools were set up for performance tracking.

Next, we moved on to the local search elements to optimize the site for customers located in the areas that The Leafy Basket delivers to like Middlesex county, Union county, Essex county, and so on. To target these locations, we performed a thorough local keyword research, created content outlines, and created location-specific pages for greater visibility. There has been a measurable positive impact on visibility through our SEO efforts. They are now considering geographical expansion.
